Doua and surah to recite to fight against waswas (whispers, usually from Shaitan [Satan]), fear and stress
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ إِلَهِ النَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ (Surah An-Nas)
Say, “I seek protection from the Lord of men. The Sovereign of men, God of men, against the evil of the bad adviser, furtive, who breathes evil into the chests of men, whether he (the adviser) is a jinn, or a human being.

1. Allahouma ‘afini fi badani, Allahouma ‘afini fi sam’i, Allahouma ‘afini fi bassari, la illaha ila anta 3x
اللّهُـمَّ عافِـني في بَدَنـي ، اللّهُـمَّ عافِـني في سَمْـعي ، اللّهُـمَّ عافِـني في بَصَـري ، لا إلهَ إلاّ أَنْـتَ
“O Allah! Preserve my body. O Allah! Preserve my hearing. O Allah! Preserve my sight. There is no God but You”.
2. Allahouma ini as-aluka al’afwa wal ‘afiya fil dounya wal akhira, Allahouma ini as-aluka al’afwa wal ‘afiya fi dini wa dounyay wa ahli wa mali, Allahouma estor ‘awrati wa aamen raw’ati, Allahouma ehfadhni min bayni yaday wa min khalfi wa ‘an yamini w ‘an chimali wa min fawqi, wa a’oudhou bi ‘adhamatika an oughtala min tahti. 1x
اللّهُـمَّ إِنِّـي أسْـأَلُـكَ العَـفْوَ وَالعـافِـيةَ في الدُّنْـيا وَالآخِـرَة ، اللّهُـمَّ إِنِّـي أسْـأَلُـكَ العَـفْوَ وَالعـافِـيةَ في ديني وَدُنْـيايَ وَأهْـلي وَمالـي ، اللّهُـمَّ اسْتُـرْ عـوْراتي وَآمِـنْ رَوْعاتـي ، اللّهُـمَّ احْفَظْـني مِن بَـينِ يَدَيَّ وَمِن خَلْفـي وَعَن يَمـيني وَعَن شِمـالي ، وَمِن فَوْقـي ، وَأَعـوذُ بِعَظَمَـتِكَ أَن أُغْـتالَ مِن تَحْتـي
“O Allah! I ask you for forgiveness and good health in this world and in the hereafter; O Allah! I ask you for forgiveness and good health for my religion, my life in this world, my family, and my money; O Allah! Hide my faults and soothe my fears; O Allah! Protect me from in front of me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, from above me, and I ask you by your greatness to protect me from being swallowed up in the earth”.
3. Ya Hay ya Qayoum bi rahmatika astaghith aslihli cha-ni koulahou wa la takilni ila nafsi tarfata ‘ayn. 3x
يَا حَيُّ يَا قيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أسْتَغِيثُ أصْلِحْ لِي شَأنِي كُلَّهُ وَلاَ تَكِلْنِي إلَى نَفْسِي طَـرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
“O Thou the Living, the One who needs nothing and on whom everything depends, I implore help from Your mercy. Improve my situation in every way and do not leave me to my own fate, even for the blink of an eye.
4. A’oudhou bikalimatillahi altamaat min chari ma khalaq. 3x
أَعـوذُ بِكَلِمـاتِ اللّهِ التّـامّـاتِ مِنْ شَـرِّ ما خَلَـق
“I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.”
5. Allahouma ini a’oudhou bika min alham wal hazan, wa a’oudhou bika min al’ajzi wal kassal, wa a’oudhou bika min aljoubni wal bokhl, wa a’oudhou bika min ghalabatil dayn wa qahr alrijal. 3x
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ، وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ
“O Allah! I ask You for protection from anxiety, sadness, incapacity, laziness, cowardice, avarice, the difficulty of debt and the domination of men”.
6. Allahouma la sahla ila ma ja’altahou sahlan, wa anta taj’al alhazan idha chi-ta sahlan. 7x
اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إلاَّ مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وأنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الحَزن إذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلاً
“O Allah, nothing is easy except what You have made easy, and You are the One who, if He wills, makes sorrow easy”.
