Covid Prayer
With prayer, compassion, tenderness, let us remain united. Let us make our closeness feel to those who are the most alone and the most tried. Let us also pray for our sisters and brothers with this Covid prayer that we offer you for this period of pandemic.
Our father,
we ask with confidence
may the coronavirus do no more harm and that
the epidemic is brought under control quickly,
that you restore health to those affected
and peace where it has spread.
Welcome the deceased, comfort their families.
Help and protect the health personnel who fight it,
and inspire and bless those who work to control it.
Lord Jesus,
doctor of our souls and our bodies, we are helpless
in this situation, so we have confidence in you,
give us your peace and health. Amen.
Prayer for compassion in the time of coronavirus
Dear Lord,
Heal those who are sick with the virus. May they regain their strength and health through quality medical care.
Heal us from our fear, which prevents nations from working together and neighbors from helping one another.
Heal us from our pride, which can make us claim invulnerability to a disease that knows no borders.
Jesus Christ, healer of all, stay by our side in this time of uncertainty and sorrow.
Be with those who have died from the virus. May they be at rest with you in your eternal peace.
Be with the families of those who are sick or have died. As they worry and grieve, defend them from illness and despair. May they know your love and peace.
Be with the doctors, nurses, researchers and all medical professionals who seek to heal and help those affected and who put themselves at risk in the process. May they know your protection and peace.
Whether we are home or abroad, surrounded by many people suffering from this illness or only a few, Jesus Christ, stay with us as we endure and mourn, persist and prepare. In place of our anxiety, give us your peace. Amen
Covid Prayer to the heart of Jesus
Lord Jesus, through your Heart,
You reveal to us the fullness of your love.
In the Gospel, You show us
May confident prayer obtain wonders from
Grace, help our doubts.
In our worries, increase our faith.
Give us to believe firmly
that You love us with infinite love
In these times of epidemic,
where we are prevented from receiving You
sacramentally, come and visit us;
to strengthen us in our trials.
You know our desire to love You
and our lack of loyalty.
Weak and sinful,
we rely on it with confidence
to Your immense mercy.
Protect us and keep us
in the infinite tenderness of Your Heart.
Heart of Jesus, full of love and goodness,
we trust in You.

Prayer to ask God for an end to the coronavirus epidemic
Our Father,
Always attentive to the clamor of those who call on you,
We know you stay close to us in the difficulties and joys of our daily life.
You have shown this to us in the person of your Son, Jesus, who became man to be our Savior.
Even today, he does not leave us orphans but sends us the Holy Spirit who prompts us to pray.
That’s why, in the face of the epidemic shaking our world
We turn to You, God our Father, with faith and confidence,
as did in his time, in the midst of the covid epidemic,
healed bodies and brought men to God,
We ask today through his intercession,
the cessation of this scourge so that
triumphs over faith over fear;
solidarity over selfishness and Life over death.
God of goodness and tenderness who lifts up the little ones and the poor,
have mercy on us and our world. Amen!
