Scientology Church

The goals of Scientology Church are: a civilization without madness, without criminals and without war, in which able people can prosper and honest people can have rights, and in which man is free to reach higher heights, these are the aims of Scientology Church. Written by Ron Hubbard in September 1965.

# 1 THE RELIGION OF SCIENTOLOGY WAS FOUNDED BY L. RON HUBBARD, A SCIENCE FICTION WRITER, IN 1952

“THE. Ron Hubbard having published a total of 50,000 pages between 1929 and 1941, his name became practically synonymous with popular novels during the 1930s; as Frederik Pohl, a friend and fellow writer proclaimed, “From the moment his stories appeared on newsstands, they became part of the cultural heritage of admirers of classic science fiction.”

# 2 ACCORDING TO SCIENTOLOGISTS, SEXUAL INFIDELITY CAN REDUCE OUR SURVIVAL

“One partner’s infidelity can dramatically reduce our survival. Examples abound in history or in the newspapers that show infidelity frequently arouses violent passions. […] In addition, there is the problem of health. If you do not insist that your partner be faithful to you, you may expose yourself to certain diseases. It was said, for a very short time, that venereal disease was stopped. This is not the case now, if it ever was. There are now incurable forms of these diseases. ”

# 3 THEY BELIEVE “CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY IS SET TO LEAD A CHILD TO FAILURE”

“Whatever affection you have for your child, remember that he will be unable to survive well in the long term if you do not put him on the path to survival. It will not be a coincidence that the child turns out badly: our contemporary society is set to lead a child to failure. You will help the child immensely if you can get him to understand the precepts of this book and agree to follow them. ”

# 4 ACCORDING TO SCIENTOLOGISTS, HEARING IS THE ESSENTIAL PRACTICE OF SCIENTOLOGY

“Hearing erases painful experiences in a person’s life and increases their ability to cope with and remedy various undesirable factors in their existence. […] A person trained and qualified to improve individuals through hearing is called an auditor. […] An auditor is a minister or minister-in-training of the Church of Scientology. A person who receives hearing is called a preclear – someone who has not yet reached Clear state. Through hearing, a preclear learns more about themselves and about life.

# 5 “AUDITORS” MUST BE ORDERED MINISTERS

“Like many other religions, the Church of Scientology has ministers who administer Scientology religious services to its parishioners. One becomes Minister of Scientology after having followed a specific training program and obtained the corresponding diploma. All Scientology listeners are called upon to be ordained ministers. ”

# 6 THEY BELIEVE YOU CAN EXIST OUTSIDE THE BODY

“In Scientology this phenomenon is called exteriorization – when the mind detaches itself from the body while remaining fully conscious. Scientology believes that Man is not his body, his mind, or his brain. Being a spiritual power himself, Man can breathe energy into his physical body. Indeed, through the discovery of exteriorization, Scientology has conclusively and for the first time demonstrated that Man is a spiritual being. ”

# 7 THEY SAY THE GOVERNMENT “Tends to be a machine that acts rather without thinking”

“State and government tend to be machines that act rather thoughtlessly. They can be, as such, implacable and inflexible enemies when it comes to illegal acts. The notion of good and bad does not count before laws and codes. It’s only the law that matters. ”

# 8 THEY BELIEVE HUMANS HAVE SEVERAL LIVES

Scientologists believe that people are immortal spirit beings who have lived before and will live after, and that their future happiness and immortality as spirit beings depends on how they behave now. […] It is obvious that what we create within our societies in this life will affect us in our next life. ”

# 9 ACCORDING TO THEM, THE WORLD “WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BEAR ANY FORM OF LIFE” SOON

“Recent discoveries thanks to space probes launched towards Venus have shown that our world is in danger of deteriorating to the point of no longer being able to bear any form of life. And that could very well happen during our existence”.

# 10 THEY BELIEVE THAT LIES REDUCE “OUR POTENTIAL FOR SURVIVAL”

“When people around us lie to us, we are led to make mistakes and our potential for survival is reduced. […] What is true is what is true for you. ”

# 11 THEY BELIEVE INCOMPETENCE IS THREATENING “THE LIFE AND FUTURE OF SOME OF US”

“When incompetence creeps into politics and economics, the physical sciences and the humanities, the lives and futures of some of us or the multitude are threatened. […] Perhaps the true “gift from heaven” is simply the ability to be competent. […] A person’s survival depends on their skill level. Encourage people to become proficient when they are engaged in worthwhile activities. ”

# 12 THEY STUDY THE WRITINGS OF L. RON HUBBARD

“Training is the second major practice of the Scientology religion. The writings and recorded lectures of L. Ron Hubbard constitute the Scriptures of the Scientology religion. It has been established that 50% of the spiritual growth attainable in Scientology comes from studying and applying the scriptures. Scientologists study the books, lectures and watch L. Ron Hubbard’s films in the classrooms set up for this study. ”

# 13 ACCORDING TO THEM, IT IS “A LITTLE DANGEROUS TO SIDE SLOW PEOPLE”

“Some people around you have messed up their lives because they don’t know how to study, because they don’t learn anything. […] If you cannot get the people around you to study and learn, you will have a hard time doing your job and you will even be overloaded. And your survival potential will be greatly reduced. […] It’s a little dangerous to be around people who are slow in a world that lives a mile a minute. ”

# 14 THEY HAVE RELIGIOUS SERVICES AND CEREMONIES

“In all the Churches of Scientology there is a chapel for religious services and ceremonies. Every Sunday, the chaplain conducts a religious service open to all. For a Scientologist, these services provide an opportunity to gain new knowledge and reaffirm Scientology religious principles. As in all religions, Scientology also celebrates weddings, baptisms and funeral services. In all of these Scientology ceremonies, individuals are addressed as spiritual beings. Another Scientology tradition is the certificate giving ceremonies that take place every Friday. This is a time when Church officials and members come together to congratulate those who have completed a hearing service or a training phase in the past week. ”

# 15 THEY HAVE SEVERAL CHARITY PROGRAMS

“The Church and its members are committed to helping others and providing assistance through many activities. These programs include drug prevention campaigns, human rights education initiatives, as well as programs for the rehabilitation of drug addicts and criminals, the fight against illiteracy and the restoration of moral values using L. Ron Hubbard technologies. Through the Scientology Volunteer Ministers program, parishioners participate in disaster relief efforts ».

# 16 THE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY OFFERS PERSONALITY TESTS

“The Church of Scientology makes itself known primarily through advertisements in the press and hanging in the streets, with the Personality Test being widely distributed. He offered to answer 200 questions. It is free, but those contacted are invited to continue their reflection through paid courses. Hubbard’s books and especially his Dianetics are sold to the general public in newsstands and bookstores which ignore the sectarian origin of this literature”.
